Seeking an experienced, high performance auto technician

We are looking to add a Technician to our team. This is a Full-Time Position, located in Glen Arm, MD.

Job Description
We are looking to add an additional technician to our team. This person will be responsible for handling all types of mechanical and diagnostic jobs from start to finish. This person will be responsible for Diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles along with communicating to the rest of the team what parts and services they will need. The focus here at MA-Motorsports is high performance work but we do also do regular auto repair so a range of experience is prefered. Examples of work include: Suspension part replacement, Alignments, High performance bolt on part and turbo kit install, diagnosing running conditions, problem solving, custom mounting and fitting of parts, tune ups, clutch and drivetrain repairs, transmission and differential repair, etc.

Qualifications
-Experience with Race and Drift car setup and assembly
-Able to work with and perform with a team
-General High Performance automotive experience
-Effective communication skills
-5 + years experience
-Has own tools
-Skilled diagnostician
-Experience in 12V wiring and electronics on modern vehicles
-A strong understanding of suspension and alignment setup is a plus
-Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
-Well versed in Japanese vehicles and engine swaps is a plus
Additional information and compensation:
This is an in person, Monday through Friday position with potential overtime at some times of the season, pay will be based on experience and level of knowledge. Benefits offered include healthcare, IRA matching, PTO and more.

Your Role

You’ll be the bridge between our customers, our builds, and the global motorsports community.

Guide customers through their projects from concept to reality, building estimates, setting and maintaining expectations, and providing class-leading customer service

Drive parts sales through our ecommerce platforms and over the phone.

Recommend parts, upgrades, and solutions tailored to their goals

Collaborate with our fabricators and technicians to ensure builds exceed expectations

What We’re Looking For
Proven, hands-on knowledge of motorsports builds—fabrication, wiring, setup, tuning, and performance upgrades

Drift and Road Racing knowledge is necessary

Comfortable advising customers and translating their ideas into actionable build plans

Skilled in social media strategy, posting, and community engagement

Excellent communicator—fluent in both enthusiast and technical language

Highly self-motivated, detail-driven, and thrives in a high-performance environment
- Familiar with Quickbooks, Google Docs, Sheets, etc.
